Data version 3 · schema 1 · publication floors: 100 eligible rounds overall, 30 per subgroup.
What is collected and why
Only with your explicit opt-in in the game, a finished round sends one anonymous summary: game/scoring version, schema version, mode, correct answers, wrong tiles, fictional distractions opened and resisted, accuracy and correct-response-time summaries, per-stage counts, active seconds, pause count, a coarse device category (mobile/desktop from viewport width), and the coarse UTC start day. Each submission carries a fresh random per-round ID used only to drop retried duplicates — it is never stored on your device across rounds and cannot identify you. Collection exists solely to publish the aggregate statistics above.
What each statistic means
Accuracy is correct tiles divided by all tile attempts. Response time is the average time from a question appearing to the correct tap (including wrong attempts, excluding pauses), summarized across rounds. Mistakes are wrong tiles plus opened fictional distractions. Resistance is dismissed-or-expired notifications divided by resolved notifications. All figures describe play sessions of this 30-second game only.
Eligibility and publication thresholds
A round counts as eligible when it finished the 30 seconds with at least one correct answer, is not flagged as a test round, and uses the current game version (3) and schema (1); versions are never mixed. Overall statistics require 100 eligible rounds; any displayed subgroup requires 30. These floors suppress small, unstable groups — they are not proof of scientific validity or representativeness.
Collection period, versions, last update
No eligible rounds have been collected yet. Data version 3 · schema 1 · last successful update none yet.
Limits of interpretation
Repeat players contribute multiple rounds; self-selected players who opt in differ from everyone who plays; practice improves scores; devices differ; some measurements are missing rather than zero; automated or manipulated submissions cannot be perfectly excluded, and client-submitted scores cannot be fully verified. Rounds are not unique players. Do not treat these aggregates as population percentiles or evidence about real-world attention.
Privacy protections
No names, emails, raw IP addresses, precise location, full URLs/referrers, fingerprints, advertising IDs, tap timestamps, or full play histories are collected. Small groups are suppressed and cannot be reconstructed through filters (no per-day, per-score, or custom filters are offered). Participation is opt-in, off by default, and separate from any advertising/analytics consent. See our privacy policy. Questions? Visit our contact page.
